Dallas Exes 4 Texas Training

The Office of Admissions will be hosting a training session open to all volunteers at the Dallas Admissions Center on July 29 from 6-7pm. This training session will cover general expectations for Ex4Tx volunteers, updates for the organization and from the Office of Admissions, and some general advice and FAQ for your interactions with students. Light refreshments will also be served. Please feel free to invite anyone you may know who is interested in becoming an Ex4Tx volunteer.

Texas Exes Back to School Drive

DTE is partnering with Community Partners of Dallas' ("CPD") Back to School drive. In 2014, CPD provided school supplies and uniforms to nearly 2,500 Dallas County children. We will be collecting school supplies.
On August 1st, we will assist in sorting and packing donated supplies.

Below is a list of needed school supplies that can be brought to any Dallas Texas Exes event in July that we will donate to Community Partners of Dallas.

Cash is also acceptable. CPD can purchase in bulk so if cash is donated, each $1 donated will buy $4 worth of school supplies.

Please join us for an evening of cocktails, dinner and Longhorn fellowship as we recognize Mr. Gary C. Kelly (Bio) and continue funding the Texas Exes Dallas Chapter’s third Forty Acres Scholars Program scholarship.

Proceeds benefit the Texas Exes Dallas Chapter Forty Acres Scholarship. The Forty Acres Scholars Program is the premier full-ride, merit-based scholarship for The University of Texas at Austin. Administered by the Texas Exes, this scholarship program offers a rich college experience that provides academic, leadership, and cultural opportunities within an intimate cohort of fellow scholars.
