This is the second year that the parade will be held in Dallas and we are doing it bigger than ever.
The parade route will go through downtown on Main street and the Dallas Texas Exes will be watching from Ten Sports Grill, our Mystiqal Presenting Sponsor.

We will start the festivities at Ten Sports Grill at 4pm.
The streets in downtown will be closed by 5pm so be sure to arrive early.
You have two parking options: Metropolitan garage at the corner of Field and Elm, or Adolphus Hotel: behind Ten Sports Grill and we will validate your $5 ticket at the bar. Click for more information on parking.
Last year they anticipated 5,000 revelers and we enjoyed over 60,000!!!!!

The parade will begin at 6:30 and the Krewe of Bevo float will be sure to stop in front of Ten Sports Grill to toss all of our alumni/fans beads and other prizes.
The party will continue into the night once the Krewe completes the parade route and returns to Ten Sports Grill with custom Krewe of Bevo tee shirts to give away.
In addition to the Mardi Gras festivities, Ten Sports Grill will be showing the Men’s Longhorn Basketball team take on OU at 9pm.

We need about 15-20 volunteers to man the water stations.
These folks would need to arrive at Reverchon Park by about 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 14th.
They would be transported with supplies to the location of the water stop (on Blackburn) and then picked up after the runners/walkers have passed through.

Come help volunteer at the GREAT STRIDES walk day to help cure Cystic Fibrosis.

Since 1955, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has been the driving force behind the pursuit of a cure. Walk day is a fun, family-oriented celebration that includes a healthy 10 kilometer (6.2 miles) walk, Kids' Corner activities, food, and festivities that participants look forward to year after year.
Registration begins at 8:30 and walk at 9:30 am.

Thanks to everyone who braved the elements and attended the Wyoming v. Texas game watching. Knox Street Pub carries Direct TV, and since Direct TV no longer supports the Versus network we ran into some technical difficulties trying to stream our game to the bar to ensure we could have a game watching. But despite the poor weather, video quality and first half play, things wrapped up nicely with a convincing Longhorn victory.

Now it's time to look forward to our first real test of the season.
Texas takes on Texas Tech this Saturday night at 7:00 in Austin.
The game is on ABC, so Knox Street Pub will have the game on all screens, in HD where possible.
Also, Knox Street Pub will feature an expanded premises with additional seats,
so let's make sure they are filled with burnt orange.
The Dallas Texas Exes will also be giving away a free set of tickets to the Texas v UTEP game.
