DESCRIPTION:RSVP Here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAll alumni and friends are welcome to join the Young Alumni for happy hour and dancing at Round-Up in Oaklawn! \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll alumni and friends are welcome to join the Young Alumni at Round-Up in Oaklawn! It’s Happy Hour ALL NIGHT\, and the Young Alumni are doing a Two-Step Take Over! No need to bring a partner\, so come on by at 6:00 to say hi and meet other alumni. \n\n\n\n\n6:00 PM Happy Hour and Pizza\n\n\n\n6:30 PM Intro to Two-Step with Monica\n\n\n\n7:30 – 8:00 PM Intermediate moves with Trenton\n\n\n\n8:00 -8:30 PM Open Dance\, Music will be playing to practice your moves!\n\n\n\n8:30 PM Line Dance lessons by Mike McKinney\, Round-Up’s regular instructor\n\n\n\n\nRound-Up offers two-step classes and all day happy hour pricing every Monday night\, but on the 16th (Presidents’ Day)\, YA members Monica Li and Trenton Makare will take over as your instructors for the evening. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPizza will be provided by Dallas Texas Exes and the Young Alumni Committee – \n\n\n\nRSVP so we know how much food to order and for Round-Up to properly staff the bar. \n\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE: There is no kitchen at Round-Up. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nNot interested in dancing? She currently teaches private lessons and continues to takes dance classes in hip hop and jazz. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTrenton Makare\, Mechanical Engineering 2015Manufacturing Director\, Engineering Industry \n\n\n\nTrenton has been two-stepping for 15 years and has been a competitive two-stepper in Texas. He’s a frequent at Cowboys Redriver and Round-Up Saloon. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nKristi Bartlett\, Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering 2013Director of Reservoir Engineering\, Natural Gas Insutry \n\n\n\nKristi has been two-stepping since her freshman year on the 40 Acres. She’ll be Monica’s “follow” and a teaching assistant during beginner two-sep lessons and has volunteered in this roll two other years. Kristi has also run the YA Camp Dallas Texas Exes event for the past couple years.

DESCRIPTION:RSVP Here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe Dallas Texas Exes have decided to continue partnering with Tango Tab’s Feed the City to put lunches together for those in need. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProject Worldwide is an international service initiative created through a partnership between the Texas Exes and the Department of Diversity and Community Engagement. By teaming up\, the DDCE and the Texas Exes have extended community service throughout the month of February and around the globe. \n\n\n\nThe Dallas Texas Exes are partnering with Tango Tab’s Feed the City for our service project\, putting together sacked lunches for people in need around DFW. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWe will be preparing sack lunches at White Rock Alehouse & Brewery (7331 Gaston Ave #100\, Dallas\, TX 75214) on Saturday\, February 28th from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. (Please note that this is a different location than our last couple years) \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nSign up now to help us get an accurate headcount of those participating with us in Project Worldwide and so we can try to save enough space for us to sit together! \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nYou’re welcome to donate the following items for the lunches\, however the Dallas Texas Exes will be donating a large amount of goods on behalf of our volunteers. \n\n\n\n\nSliced bread\n\n\n\nDeli meat (turkey\, chicken\, or ham – no meat from deli counter)\n\n\n\nSliced cheese (prepackaged)\n\n\n\nYellow mustard (no spicy mustard or mayo)\n\n\n\nLarge bags of chips\n\n\n\nTangerines (ex. Halos or Cuties)\n\n\n\nZiploc sandwich bags\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nDon’t forget to wear Burnt Orange!! This event is public\, so we’d like to try to all sit together and take a group photo afterwards.
