Get Teed Off at OU

The Get Teed Off at OU Golf Classic has raised more than $2 M in funds for scholarships over its three-decade history, and is the longest running major Texas Exes event in the world.

The Texas Exes Dallas Chapter is a local chapter of the Texas Exes, the alumni association for the University of Texas at Austin.

In 2021, the Dallas Texas Exes (DTE) is celebrating its 95th year as a Texas Exes chapter. The chapter has endowed two 40 Acres scholarships and awards an additional amount over $45k annually.

Our signature event is the Get Teed off at OU Golf Classic scheduled during Texas-ou Weekend in Dallas.  The weekend includes other Texas-ou events including Bash Before the Clash, Texas Pre-Game Tailgate at Fair Park, and Gamewatch.

Throughout the year we host a variety of events. We have happy hours to connect and engage alumni; Gamewatch to gather alumni, family, and friends to cheer on Longhorn sports teams; Texas Independence Day to celebrate both the Lone Star State and the University of Texas; Project Worldwide to make an impact in our local community; and other various events to offer alumni a way to stay engaged with the University and one another.

We meet monthly and welcome any alumni who wants to get involved.

The purpose of the Texas Exes Dallas Chapter is to connect local Texas Exes to each other and to the past, present, and future of the University of Texas at Austin.

The Dallas Texas Exes is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization which raises money to provide Dallas and Collin county high school students scholarships to the University of Texas at Austin.

The Texas Exes Dallas Chapter has a variety of committees and activities designed to fulfill the Texas Exes purpose and vision in the Dallas and its surrounding cities!
