Get Teed Off At OU Golf Tournament Committee Names College “Jeopardy!” Champion Jaskaran Singh Honorary Chair

The Get Teed Off At OU Golf Committee is pleased to announce that College “Jeopardy!” Champion and UT alum Jaskaran Singh will serve as the Honorary Chair of tournament on October 7th.

Singh, of Plano, who graduated in May, was crowned “Jeopardy!” college champion after winning 18 straight games and defeating 36 opponents from colleges around the USA, all while sporting his burnt-orange sweatshirt in honor of his alma-mater !

Jaskaran also brought back to Texas $250,000 in winnings.

“We’re thrilled that Jaskaran accepted our invitation to be Honorary Chair and hope to show him a fun day at the tournament,” said Dave Lokey, GTO co-chair. “It was great watching Jaskaran on “Jeopardy!” trouncing every other college and university he faced while wearing his UT sweatshirt. Hopefully, he will bring it along to Firewheel Golf Park for all the photo opps we think he’s going to get!”

The 34th Annual Get Teed Off at OU Golf Classic is the largest Longhorn golf tournament in the world and longest-running fundraiser of any Texas Exes Chapter. The tournament sells out every year. To sign up to play or bring a 6-man, you can read more and register here.
